PCI Express Expander Backplane System
Expand the number of PCIe slots on a motherboard of your choice with our PCIe expansion technology. Simply place the included host adapter on a free PCI Express x4 slot of your mainboard. The counterpart, the so-called "Client adapter", is placed on the PCI Express backplane. Now connect the two controllers with help of the supplied data cables. The system is immediately ready for use. The backplane(s) has a transparent PCIe switch that transparently handles the communication between the PCIe devices and the host. No drivers are required and it works on all systems from Windows to MAC OS to Linux.
PCI Express Backplane - Case #2 - ATX Gehäuse
Case #2 provides space for 6/12/18/19x PCIe slots in a rugged 19" case. In addition to the backplanes, an ATX mainboard can be placed in Case #2 to accommodate the client adapter(s) to expand the PCI Express slots. The client adapter on the backplane and the host adapter on the mainboard are connected with the included 50cm data cable.
Also included is the 650Watt SFX power supply which is designed for continuous operation (24/7), in addition five 80mm fans work and provide optimal cooling, even with full card assembly and use in harsh industrial environments.
